Interview with Crafter Jessica Acs

Jessica Acs is the writer of the book Outstanding Mini Albums published by Memory Makers. She also has her own etsy shop where she sells beautiful handmade embellishments.

How did you get started?

I have been scrapbooking for many years and I've always loved making my own embellishments. The past couple years I started playing around with fabric and felt and I'm hooked!

What are your favorite items to create?

Well of course mini books of any kind - that is my all time favorite. I really love making the little flower embellishments with buttons and felt too - so much fun and so many varieties! I also love making embellishments with fimo/ polymer clay.

What are your favorite items in your shop?

The little flower/button embellishments and of course my book (on mini albums) :)

What is your creating environment like?

I am fortunate to have my own craft room, it happens to be the brightest room in the house and has high ceilings. I love it and it just makes me happy to be in there. I have organized it with a lot of furniture from IKEA, and there are numerous shelves on the wall which I have little bottles and jars of embellishments lined up.

A personal motto

Don't take anyone or anything for granted. I am thankful for who I am and what I have.

One random thing about yourself.

I love being barefoot, anytime of the year.
